Operation Aluta Africa (OA2) is a movement of young African leaders which aims to facilitate broader participation in the African economy by black people, especially in order to redress inequalities created by the white supremacy during the apartheid.
OA2 provides incentives especially preferential treatment not only in government procurement processes to businesses but also the management and administration of the African natural resources which contribute to black economic empowerment according to several measurable criteria, including through partial or majority black ownership, hiring black employees, and contracting with black-owned suppliers.
It is our fundamental belief as (OA2) that “he who owns your land owns your basics” therefore, we seek to give back our land to black people (this includes all the mines and farms). We believe that a black child has not yet attained his Economic freedom aslong as his land is still in the hands of a whiteman and we seek to engage into an Economic Liberation Struggle until a black African child fully attains his economic freedom.
We believe that Black Africans are not entitled to employment. Its our right to do mining, farming and industrialisation in our land without intimidation. We are not white people and Chinese workers, they are the foreiners on our Land and must work for us not us working for them.
The preferential procurement aspect of OA2 is paradigmatic of a sustainable procurement approach, whereby government procurement must be forced to advance social policy objectives that reflects the interests of a black African. No White or Chinese investor must have a 100% ownership of our land.
